Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allows eligible employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for out-of-pocket medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision and/or dependent or elder care expenses. This is a 100% voluntary program and you do not have to be enrolled in the health plan in order to participate. The FSA plan year - or coverage period - begins January 1, and ends December 31.
